About
About Candice Rouse
I’m Candice Rouse, a soft pastel artist with a love of colour and classical realism.
Realism in soft pastel
Realism connects me to the subject I’m painting, and I enjoy the challenge of capturing the beauty and feeling of what I see. I work in soft pastel because I love the feeling of holding the pigment in my hands and the direct approach of putting colour straight onto the paper.
